The Adondo "Talking Drums" are widely used in Ghana especially by the Ashantis.

They send messages of happiness, sorrow, war etc., to other tribes through the beating of the drum. They are called "Talking Drums" because they can produce a wide range of pitches by squeezing the drum under your arm as you strike the head. They are carved from a single piece of wood and have 8" goatskin heads. These are authentic talking drums that are brought over here from Ghana. There are 3 sizes. The 10" and 15" drums have a higher range of tones, while the 19" drum has tones that are of a deeper range. You can have one of each of these drums in your drumming circle to provide a great range of tones!
